ENDIAMA E.P., founded on January 15, 1981, is a national company dedicated to the prospection, exploration, and commercialization of diamonds. It operates nationwide as the exclusive operator and concessionaire in managing the value chain of the diamond subsector.

As an Angolan public company, ENDIAMA shares the same climate of transparency and reform as the rest of the country. The focal points of the reforms in Angola’s diamond sector are oriented towards starting new prospection projects, implementing the new diamond marketing policy, developing infrastructure projects, as well as energy and agriculture industries that support mining.

With a total of 500 employees, 39% of whom are women and 61% men, ENDIAMA’s Board of Directors has made human capital a core strategy by implementing a permanent training and capacity-building program to meet the company’s needs and challenges.

The Board of Directors has carried out several reforms, including a new strategic plan aimed at relaunching its own production, closely monitoring mining and non-mining companies, and strengthening community-based activities.
