The Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) is a global standard aimed at promoting open and responsible management of natural resources in implementing countries (Oil and Mining Sectors).
This standard requires the disclosure of information along the extractive industry value chain — from the extraction phase to how revenues are collected by the government and how they benefit the citizens of those countries.
Angola's accession in 2022 came as a way to enhance the various internal instruments already in place to promote good governance, including transparency and anti-corruption.
ENDIAMA, as the National Diamond Company of Angola, is one of Angola's representatives in the EITI and actively collaborates to achieve the goals of transparency and anti-corruption.
